Today’s announcement coincides with Google’s introduction of Google Cast for audio, which extends Google Cast, the technology that powers Chromecast, to audio devices. Broadcom worked closely with Denon to bring Google Cast capabilities to the company’s HEOS wireless multi-room, high-end audio products, providing consumers and audiophiles seeking the highest quality audio experience with a flexible, whole home system. By leveraging Broadcom’s development platform with integrated high- performance processing and Wi-Fi technology, Denon was able to simplify implementation and add significant new functionality.
