I have a Denon DP-59 turntable, which moving coil could I use?

Asked by: SMLee
The DP-59 supports a cartridge weight between 3 and 14 grams. The DL-110 (4.8 grams) would be a suitable cartridge.

Can this be used with the MC inputs?

Asked by: TonyBr
Denon DL-110 is a high output moving coil cartridge, so it would overload an input designed for low output MC cartridges (like the DL-103R). For Denon DL-110, use the 'regular' gain input designed for moving magnet cartridges.

the stylus/cantilever of my dl-110 is broken, can it be repaired?

Asked by: Pablo
Hi Pablo. Unfortunately the DL-110 does not have a replaceable stylus. If the stylus is broken the whole cartridge will need to be replaced.

I have a Denon DP-300F turntable that works fine. But based on reviews I upgraded and installed this DL-110 phono cartridge But when the turntable is running I am hearing a rhythmic thump-thump and loud snaps on my receiver. What is wrong?
