Is this a good match, and upgrade for a pro-ject rm 1.3, with Cambridge audio 551p?

Hello. I think the DL110 is a great cartridge, and would almost certainly sound amazing on your turntable. Which cartridge will sound better with your turntable, however, is subjective and really comes down to a matter of preference.

Rhythmic-thump noise over receiver - DENON DL-110 cartridge with DENON DP-300F turntable. I recently installed new DL-110 cart into existing head shell / tone arm for DP300F TT. Now a rhythmic thump noise occurs when platter turns. pls advise/help?

Asked by: JamesD0012
This could be the cartridge picking up mechanical noise from the turntable. It would be best to contact customer support at the link below to troubleshoot and find service if necessary. Thanks! https://usa.denon.com/us/support/home

Is this compatible with the DP300F

Asked by: jfbailey1
Yes. The DL-110 cartridge is a great match for the DP-300F. It has different specs than the supplied cartridge, so you will only need to adjust for the specs of the DL-110.

I have a Denon DP-59 turntable, which moving coil could I use?

Asked by: SMLee
The DP-59 supports a cartridge weight between 3 and 14 grams. The DL-110 (4.8 grams) would be a suitable cartridge.

Can this be used with the MC inputs?

Asked by: TonyBr
Denon DL-110 is a high output moving coil cartridge, so it would overload an input designed for low output MC cartridges (like the DL-103R). For Denon DL-110, use the 'regular' gain input designed for moving magnet cartridges.

the stylus/cantilever of my dl-110 is broken, can it be repaired?

Asked by: Pablo
Hi Pablo. Unfortunately the DL-110 does not have a replaceable stylus. If the stylus is broken the whole cartridge will need to be replaced.
