FEATURES - DP-29F

Now's the time to put your vinyl records back into your listening rotation. The DP-29F includes a built-in RIAA phono equalizer to hook it up to your system through a standard analog connection.

The DP-29F has been precision manufactured with rigid diecast aluminum to produce uniform inertial mass for perfectly stable turntable rotation, an essential component of high fidelity sound during playback. The turntable employs an automated system that starts playing the record with the single touch of a button and finishes play at the end of the record by returning the tone arm to its original position and stopping turntable rotation. This system ensures that you do not inadvertently scratch your records when you play them. There is also a manual lifter mechanism that allows you to place the needle on the record wherever you want, so you can skip to a song in the middle of a side.

The DP-29F includes a built-in phono equalizer to connect the unit to an integrated amp that does not have its own equalizer. This turntable is powered by a DC servo motor and belt drive system and operated at the 33 1/3 or 45 rpm speed. It comes with an MM cartridge so that you can begin to enjoy your analog record collection as soon as you connect the DP-29F to your home hi-fi system. Two-year warranty on New and one-year warranty on Refurbished model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for simple setup without consol/tuner I use this with some nice powered computer speakers, I don't have space for a full on stereo consol. The RIAA preamp brings up the signal to line level with proper EQ curve to plug into anything and sound great ( regular phono output cannot do this ). It's fun going through all the crates of old records, great sound, ultra compact setup

Can you pair this with the D-M40 by simply using the Analog In connection? Do you need any other components for using the turntable and D-M40?

Asked by: jason72
Hi Jason72. Yes, the DP-29F can be connected to the analog input of the D-M40. The EQ switch on the DP-29F needs to be in the ON position. The switch is located at the 12 o'clock position under the platter. You can find it by removing the rubber mat and rotating the platter to reveal the switch. Please refer to page 6 in the DP-29F user manual for reference. Thanks!

Can it be easily connected to a AVR X-4000 or will it require some sort of adaptor or whatsoever?

Asked by: Odilon
Hello. The AVR-X4000 has a dedicated Phono input which is intended for use with a turntable. No adapter would be necessary. If you connect the DP-29F to the Phono input, just be sure that the EQ switch is turned off, otherwise the audio will be distorted. The EQ switch should only be turned on when connecting to a regular line level input, not a phono input. The EQ switch is under the platter at the 12:00 position. To find it, just remove the rubber mat and rotate the platter until you can see the switch. Please refer to the DP29F owner's manual for a visual guide. Thanks!
