Features - DP-200USB

Now you can easily convert all of your favorite records to modern MP3 digital audio tracks with Denon’s DP-200USB fully automatic turntable. Equipped with an internal MP3 encoder, along with a front panel USB port, the DP-200USB lets you play your favorite LPs and create MP3 tracks easily and automatically. The included PC software features Audio Waveform Recognition, which checks the first 15 seconds of each track and searches the extensive Gracenote Internet music tracks database to capture the track’s meta-deta (artist, title, etc.). The software also features Auto Track Divide, which notes silent breaks between tracks and automatically inserts a new track tag for each track (you also have the option of doing this manually). The front panel USB port allows connection to a USB flash drive. In addition to the USB connection, the DP-200USB features conventional stereo outputs, which can be configured with or without RIAA equalization, for full compatibility with the widest range of audio components. Two-year warranty on New and One-year warranty on Refurbished model.

Reviews And Awards - DP-200USB

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely useful Setup is foolproof. Front control of record to USB is unmatched by any other Turntable I have found. The only reason I did not give this a 5th star is, it does not have a tone arm control for selecting individual tracks. Pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting to put Albums on USB flash drive.

Q&A - DP-200USB

I am running Windows 10 and Trans Music Manager keeps locking up and doing other strange things. It seems if you are going to sell a turntable with USB capability That you would have available software for it that is current. Is there a current version

Asked by: Buster52
Hello Buster52, The DP-200USB is an older model so it is not up to date with Windows 10. • The following OS are compatible. Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows Vista (The display screen may differ in part depending on the personal computer.)

Hello , please is there any way to connect my Turntable to the computer directly by usb so I’d be able to copy Music from my vinyl discs to the computer and without the usb stick. Thank you

Asked by: Nabil shaya
Hello Nabil, Unfortunately not, you will have to use the USB Stick to transfer files.

Is there any way to use the audio cords enclosed (or ANY other way) to send the recordings to my laptop via a hard connection rather than USB? The empty USB registers an audio folder, but 19 out of 20 times this file is empty.

Asked by: Bower1939
Hello Bower1939, The only way to use it that way is with the USB. You would put the USB stick into the turntable, play the record and then, unplug the USB, put it in the computer, then you should see the file. I wouldn't connect a computer directly to the unit with USB.

I want to convert my LP music to lossless file formats such as WAV or FLAC. I have no use for mp3 files. How can I get lossless files with this product?

Asked by: Buns
Try GoldWave. It is a program that will/can capture sound input. I've used it for years and years and it has consistently proven to be a quality, well supported product. (No, I don't own shares;)

My beautiful 1.5 year old boy played with my DP-200USB and now every time I play a record the arm goes a bit closer to the center instead than to the srat of the record. Can it be fixed?

Asked by: oscarm
It sounds like the size setting is incorrect. Look for the switch on the top right hand side, in front of the tone arm. Make sure that's set to 30 for a normal record. If it's set to 17, it's set for a smaller record so the tone arm will drop closer to the center.
